What are they for?
A cookie is information stored by your browser and sent to the relevant service. Local storage stays in the browser. These mechanisms support sign-in and preferences; they are separate from memberships, invoices and carts stored in your server-side record.
Member and staff sign-in
ca-access: an access-session cookie lasting about one hour, depending on the authentication service’s session duration. ca-refresh: a renewal cookie lasting up to 30 days from creation or renewal. They are protected from page-script access, secure in production and removed at sign-out. Sessions can also be revoked earlier.
Academy stations
ca-station-scan and ca-station-signup: system-account cookies reserved for scanning and registration respectively. They last at most 24 hours; sign-out, expiry or revocation ends access. They are not a member account or an advertising tool.
Language, appearance and notice
NEXT_LOCALE remembers language for the browser session. An earlier appearance preference may remain in local storage under theme; the website currently uses a fixed dark appearance. cookie-consent remembers dismissal of the notice. These local entries remain until you or the browser delete them, with no automatic expiry date.
Got it dismisses an information notice; it does not authorise advertising, audience analytics or photo publication. This version enables no advertising or audience-analytics tools. Technical hosting and security logs are not advertising measurement.
Managing your choices
You can inspect and delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings for each domain you use. Blocking them may prevent sign-in or remove a preference. Use Sign out to end a session too. Clearing browser data does not delete your member record.
Camera permission is separate from cookies: it lets the scanner read QR codes on academy tablets and can be revoked in browser settings. Contact contact@championsacademyrdc.com with questions. Any future optional trackers will be accompanied by appropriate information and choices before activation.
