House Rules

For everyone's safety and enjoyment, all members and visitors must follow these rules at Champion's Academy.

1. General Conduct

  • Treat all members, staff, and coaches with respect at all times

  • Follow all instructions given by coaches and staff

  • No aggressive behavior outside of supervised training sessions

  • Represent the Academy with dignity both inside and outside the facility

  • Keep noise levels appropriate—no excessive shouting or disruptive behavior

2. Safety Rules

  • You must sign a liability waiver before your first training session

  • Always warm up properly before any training activity

  • Report all injuries to staff immediately

  • No training while under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that affects coordination

  • In case of emergency, staff will call emergency services and notify your emergency contact

3. Hygiene Standards

  • Clean training attire is required for all sessions

  • Towels are mandatory for all training areas

  • Wipe down equipment after each use

  • Bath shoes and a towel are mandatory in the showers and changing rooms

  • No outdoor or street shoes on the training floor

5. Equipment Usage

  • Return all equipment to designated areas after use

  • Report any damaged equipment to staff immediately

  • Use equipment only for its intended purpose

  • Personal equipment (gloves, pads, etc.) is allowed

  • Damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence: Member pays full replacement cost

6. Photography & Media

  • No photography or video of other members without their consent

  • No photography or video recording in locker rooms or changing areas under any circumstances

  • Phone calls should be taken in designated areas only

  • Academy promotional photography requires your explicit opt-in consent

7. Prohibited Items

  • Alcohol

  • Illegal drugs

  • Tobacco products

  • Steroids and performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs)

  • Weapons of any kind

  • Cooked food (beverages and snacks are permitted)

  • Animals (except service animals)

  • Glass containers

8. Access & Membership

  • Check-in is required: Use your membership card, fingerprint scan, or verify with staff

  • Operating hours: Monday - Saturday, 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM

  • Your membership is strictly non-transferable

  • Guests must register at reception; guest access depends on your membership tier

9. Children & Minors

  • Minimum age for membership: 6 years old

  • Children under 16 require parental or guardian consent for membership

  • Parents may drop off children for classes (supervision by parent not required during class)

  • All children must follow the same house rules as adult members

10. Sparring & Combat Rules

  • Sparring is only permitted under coach supervision

  • Coaches assign sparring partners—do not self-select

  • Full protective gear is required for all sparring sessions

  • Controlled contact only—follow coach's instructions on intensity

  • Stop immediately if your partner signals or appears injured

  • Competition representation requires written permission from the Academy

11. Locker Room Rules

  • Use lockers to secure your personal belongings

  • The Academy is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items

  • Keep locker room areas clean and tidy

  • Bath shoes are mandatory in wet areas

  • No photography or video recording is permitted in locker rooms

12. Violations & Consequences

Violations of these House Rules will result in the following consequences:

  • First Offense: Verbal warning

  • Second Offense: Written warning

  • Third Offense: Membership suspension

  • Serious Violations: Immediate membership termination without refund

  • Criminal Activity: Reported to authorities

The Academy reserves the right to determine the severity of violations and appropriate consequences.
