1. Acceptance of Terms
By signing a membership agreement, accessing our facilities, or using Champion's Academy RDC services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This agreement is binding immediately upon signing—there is no cooling-off period. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register for membership or use our services.
2. Definitions

"Academy" refers to Champion's Academy RDC SARL
"Member" refers to any person who has signed a membership agreement
"Services" refers to all training classes, facilities, and amenities provided by the Academy
"Facility" refers to the Academy premises at Avenue Kasa-Vubu 26075, Kinshasa
"Force Majeure" refers to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to pandemic, civil unrest, natural disaster, war, or government action
3. Membership Eligibility
Membership is subject to the following eligibility requirements:
Adults (16+): May sign membership agreements independently
Minors (6-15): Require parental or guardian consent; parent/guardian must sign all agreements
Minimum Age: 6 years old (with parental consent)
Medical Clearance: Required for members with heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy, recent surgery (within 6 months), or chronic conditions. A doctor's clearance letter must be provided before training.
4. Membership Fees & Payment
Membership operates on a monthly subscription basis with no minimum commitment period.
Payment Methods: Cash, Mobile Money (M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Orange Money), Bank Transfer
Due Date: Payment is due at the beginning of each billing period
Late Payment: Failure to pay on time results in immediate suspension of membership. Access will be restored upon payment.
Price Changes: We will provide 60 days advance notice of any price changes
Refunds: No refunds are provided under any circumstances
5. Contract Term & Cancellation
Your membership has no minimum term.
Cancellation Notice: 30 days notice is required to cancel your membership
Cancellation Methods: You may cancel via verbal notice, written notice, email, or through our app—any form is accepted
Rejoining: Former members are always welcome to rejoin the Academy at any time
6. Membership Freeze
Membership freeze requests are handled on a case-by-case basis and require management approval. Please contact us to discuss your circumstances.
7. Membership Transfer
Memberships are strictly non-transferable. Your membership is personal to you and cannot be transferred to another person under any circumstances.
8. Facility Access & Hours
Access to the Academy facility is subject to the following:
Operating Hours: Monday - Saturday, 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM (closed Sundays and select holidays)
Check-In: You must check in using your membership card, fingerprint scan, or staff verification
Guests: Guest access is determined by your membership tier. Guests must register at reception.
9. Member Obligations
As a member, you agree to:
Provide accurate personal information and update it promptly if it changes
Sign the mandatory liability waiver before your first training session
Follow all house rules and coach instructions
Wear appropriate attire as specified in the House Rules
Treat equipment with care. Any damage caused by misuse or negligence will result in the member paying the full replacement cost.
10. Health & Safety
Your health and safety are important to us:
Liability Waiver: You must sign a liability waiver before your first training session
Medical Disclosure: You must disclose any relevant medical conditions. Conditions requiring doctor's clearance include: heart conditions, epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy, recent surgery (within 6 months), and chronic conditions.
Personal Insurance: The Academy does not carry insurance for member injuries. You are strongly advised to obtain your own sports/health insurance.
Emergency Procedure: In case of emergency, our staff will call emergency services and notify your designated emergency contact.
11. Liability & Disclaimer
Combat sports and fitness activities involve inherent risks. By becoming a member, you acknowledge and accept:
Combat sports training carries risks of injury, including but not limited to bruises, sprains, fractures, and concussions
You participate in all activities at your own risk
The Academy is not liable for personal injuries sustained during training, whether caused by equipment, other members, coaches, or your own actions
The Academy is not liable for injuries caused by other members during training or sparring
The Academy is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings. Use lockers to secure your items.
12. Class Cancellations
If the Academy cancels a class (due to coach illness, emergency, or other reasons), a makeup class will be offered at a rescheduled time.
13. Competition Representation
Members wishing to compete in tournaments or fights representing Champion's Academy must obtain written permission from the Academy prior to the event.
14. External Coaches
External coaches or personal trainers may only work with members at our facility with prior Academy approval.
15. Professional Athletes
Professional athletes or those seeking sponsorship/media rights arrangements must enter into a separate agreement with the Academy covering these specific terms.
16. Prohibited Conduct
Members must comply with all House Rules. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: possession or use of alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco, or steroids/PEDs on premises; aggressive or threatening behavior; harassment of any kind; theft; and unauthorized photography. Please refer to the House Rules for the complete list.
17. Termination by Academy
The Academy reserves the right to immediately terminate membership without refund for serious violations of these Terms, House Rules, or for conduct that endangers other members, staff, or the Academy's reputation.
18. Intellectual Property
All Academy branding, logos, and content are the property of Champion's Academy RDC SARL.
Personal Social Media: Members may tag or mention the Academy on personal social media posts
Commercial Use: Use of Academy branding for merchandise or commercial purposes requires written permission
Promotional Photography: The Academy may photograph or video training sessions for promotional purposes only with explicit opt-in consent from members
Achievement Sharing: The Academy may share member achievements publicly only with the member's permission
19. Force Majeure
In the event of a Force Majeure (pandemic, civil unrest, natural disaster, etc.) that requires temporary closure of the Academy, your membership will be automatically paused and will resume when the Academy reopens. No refunds will be provided for the closure period.
20. Assignment
The Academy may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under this agreement to another entity (for example, in the event of a sale of the business) without your consent.
21. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
22. Governing Language
These Terms and Conditions are available in English, French, and German. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between translations, the French version shall prevail.
23. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall first be addressed through amicable resolution. If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
24. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated via email and are effective immediately upon notification. Continued use of our services after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
